WHAT'S IT GOOD FOR:
ginger: boosts your immune system, anti-inflammatory
pear: lots and lots of fibre, antioxidants & vitamin c
two 250 ml glasses
INGREDIENTS
2 pears
500 ml water
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
1/4 tsp cardamom
a pinch vanilla extract
2 tbsp honey
5-10 thin slices of ginger
extra: cinnamon tea bag or 1 tsp cinnamon powder
GOOD TO HAVE: blender, little pot
HOW TO
Cut pears into small chunks. Put one half into your blender and the other half in your pot. Blend with at least 100 ml water until everything gets really smooth. Add water, pear smoothie, cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamom, vanilla, honey and ginger to your pot and mix it well. Heat up on a low level for about 15 minutes. The pear chunks should be really soft by now. If you like some extra cinnamon add a tea bag or powder. Enjoy your ginger pear drink - it's best when it's really hot!
