Practice Yoga in San Francisco

The neighbourhood where this studio is located is truly one of my favorites in San Francisco. It's really close to Fillmore Street where plenty of shops and cute cafés are.

YogaWorks got a great loft-like room to practice. The entrace is at the same time a beautiful boutique - where you can get the fanciest yoga pants.

They also have a tea bar where you can hang out on their couches in their big entrace space and read some yogi books or just relax.

They offer plenty of classes, as Vinyasa Flow, BarWorks, Hatha, Ying & Yang and many more.

It is a really special experience to practice yoga in a church with several hundred people.

At least it was for me.

Wherever you look the whole floor is covered with colorful mats. They normally start with a quick intro and welcoming speech

They have experienced staff to help you out to even relax more or get deeper into the posture.

Classes are normally held on a Tuesday evening for about an hour. They are suitable for everyone from beginner to more advanced, for people of all ages and abilities.

A donation from $10-$20 is suggested. It's best to bring your own yoga mat but if you don't have one they can help you out with one for $5. And I would definitely recommend to wear warm clothes - it can get quite cool.
