Great places for food in New York

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, I love this city.

It has something you can't describe. The vibe, the people, the food.

There is plenty of amazing fast food in NYC - from typical fries, donuts and vegan pizza

to fancy rainbow sushi and plant-based "chicken" wraps - this city has a lot to offer.

Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Flea Market market got everything - countless antiques, artwork, furniture, clothing, bikes and of course FOOD. Whatever you're looking for you'll find it there. I can highly recommend the "home frite" stall which has some amazing fries with special sauces. Try the avocado and lime one.

Vegan donuts. It's not easy to find some in New York. But this is a beautiful place. The whole cafe is gorgeous. And I love the story how the owners of this shop met. You should consider stopping by at their website to find out more. Cool people.

They offer all kinds of doughnuts as the regular glazed chocolate, cinnamon & sugar ones or more fancier like maple, strawberry cashew,

lemon poppyseed or ginger snap.

I had some plant-based pizza before. It was homemade with cashew cheese and I loved it.

But to be completley honest - I'm not really happy with vegan cheese you get on the pizzas. The crust and the veggie part was amazing at Vinnie's but cheese - mhm not sure about it.

It's definitely worth to give it a go. But next time I wouldn't probably need the cheese at all.

Manhattan

A plant-based fast food place in NYC where you probably have to come more than once - their menu is pretty big. They have something for every time of the day - breakfast, lunch, dinner - or a dessert in the middle of the day. It's a "to go place" or "eat it quick on the side".

Everything Terri offers is vegan. They have healthy smoothies, juices (for cleansing as well), sandwiches, wraps, breakfast, salads, soups and amazing desserts on their menu. I had the thai chicken wrap - which was good, really filling though but good.

Hands down. The best plant-based sushi in New York. It's a 100% vegan with local and seasonal products. They use whole grains to create their amazing looking rolls.

Besides sushi they offer soups, dumplings, salads, rice paper wraps, desserts and drinks. I found the sushi rolls the most fanciest. My favorite was the rainbow roll with red quinoa, sweet potatoes, dried tomato & avocado. It tastes extremley fresh and it was just tasty. Give it a go!

Simple and delicious are the best words to describe Two Hands.

I had a really simple toast.

It was just toast with mashed avocado. So it's kinda hard to get it really good because it's something so easily made.

So I was thrilled how this is going to taste. And I have to say - it was pretty amazing. I don't know if it was because of all that chili, lemon and olive oil. But I'm hooked.

They have two locations. A café and the other one is more a bar/restaurant.

Their creations are inspired by the Australia's lifestyle. They wanna keep everything simple, easy and fresh.

Wherever you go - no matter how far you've come -

there is a Pret a Manger waiting for you.

They offer organic coffee (not sure about the coffee tough)

and fresh "take away" food like porridge, chia-pudding, sandwiches, salads and soups. I really do love their food - especially the sandwiches.
